Sport is one of the most helpful activities anyone could do to maintain their body healthy and in shape. Sport, in average in the United States, according to Statista in 2014, took approximately 7,7 hours of time out of each American evey week. (Statista 2014, 2019) .
Sport is essential for the well-being of every human and that is why, to keep the muscles active and working it is recommended to do physical activity at least twice every week. Sport also guarantees a myriad of other benefits that involve the mind and body.
A sport is normally something that is done in order to achieve a goal or compete in a tournament, and one of the main purposes is winning. A lot of research studies have proved that the competition and the anxiety caused by sport all help to free your mind form unwanted thoughts and an overwhelming stress.
There's a heap of sports that can be practices all around the world and some of the most followed ones are: Soccer, American football, rugby... In Australia the most practiced sport is swimming (Onthegosports.com.au, 2019), very different from Italy that has soccer (Tuttotoro.com, 2019) as an epicentre for all of the activities.
According to CONI, in Italy approximately 23 million, one out of four people practice a sport (Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano, 2019).
